Terms & Conditions
All prices include VAT.
Transactions on your credit card are subject to the same terms and conditions as when you otherwise use these cards.
The total amount will only be taken from your account once the items have been shipped from our warehouse. No amount greater than the amount you authorized at the time of purchase will ever be deducted from your account.
Payment is made via a secure server (SSL), and all sensitive data is encrypted so that it cannot be read by staff or other parties.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping fee for shipments within Denmark: DKK 50 (max. 5 kg)
Orders will usually be delivered within 3-5 working days to delivery addresses in Denmark.
If one or more of your products are backordered, it may take longer. If this is the case, we will combine your order so you only have to pay for shipping once.
All packages are sent with GLS to Pakkeshop.
Return of Goods & Right of Withdrawal
You always have a 14-day right of withdrawal at www.smedens.dk. These 14 days begin when you have received your products.
If you wish to cancel your purchase and the right of withdrawal must be used, you must return the products at your own expense to the address below no later than 14 days after receipt.
The right of withdrawal can only be exercised if the products are returned in the same condition and quantity. The right of withdrawal lapses if you use the product in a way that clearly significantly reduces the sales value of the product.
When returning an order, please provide your order number, which is shown on your order confirmation. Indicate whether you prefer to receive a refund or exchange of goods.
If you use the right of withdrawal, we recommend that the products are returned as a package with a Track & Trace number, you will receive a refund once we have received the goods and have had the opportunity to examine them.
The money will be returned to the credit card you used to pay for your purchase.
For security reasons, we cannot refund money TO OTHER credit cards. Exceptions may be made IF the payment card used for the purchase has been replaced by a new card in the meantime.

Force Majeure
Smedens ApS is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations in accordance with a completed purchase if the deficiencies are due to circumstances beyond its control, and these circumstances prevent, complicate or delay the completion of the order.
Extenuating circumstances exist if Smedens ApS or its subcontractors are prevented from completing this agreement as a result of war, civil war, rebellion, public restrictions, import or export bans, natural disasters, including but not limited to earthquakes, storm surges, extensive flooding, waterspouts, volcanic eruptions and shortages of goods due to extensive labor disputes, fire or the like, which should not or could not have been foreseen by the parties at the time the agreement was entered into.
Complaint
When you buy something on www.smedens.dk, you have 24 months to file a complaint. This means that you can either have your products replaced, your money refunded, or you can receive a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. This of course depends on whether the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior.
If one or more of the ordered items have been damaged or were defective upon receipt, please contact customer service. Please see under contact. Defects and deficiencies upon receipt must be reported no later than 14 days after receipt.
We will refund reasonable shipping costs that you may incur as a result of returning the product when the complaint is justified.
You must complain in writing. Two years after receipt of the goods, your right to complain lapses in accordance with the Danish Sales Act, Section 83, subsection 1, unless otherwise stated.

Complaints to Smedens Shop will be processed as quickly as possible. We reserve the right not to replace or refund products that:
- has been handled incorrectly
- has been handled unnecessarily roughly
Please note: We will not accept packages sent cash on delivery or similar.
Remember that the product must always be returned in appropriate packaging, and get a receipt for the shipped package so that we can refund your shipping costs.

Cookies
A cookie is how a user's behavior on a network is recorded by the user themselves (on the user's hard drive). This way, the user can be recognized the next time they visit a website.
Technically, cookies are divided into two types. One is called a “session cookie” – they keep track of what you have put in your shopping cart while you navigate around the online store. “Session cookies” are not stored on your computer, but disappear when you close your browser. At www.smedens.dk we only use 'session cookies' to optimize the website and its functionality, and to make the visit as easy as possible for you.

In order to enter into an agreement with Smedens Shop, the following information about you is registered:
- Name
- Address
- Email address
- Invoice/order form in our customer library in connection with the purchase
We register personal data in order to deliver products to you. Personal data is registered with Smedens ApS and is stored for five years, after which it is deleted.
Information provided to www.smedens.dk will not be passed on or sold to a third party, and we will not record sensitive information.
If you are registered with Smedens ApS, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to see what information we have registered about you. You have these rights in accordance with the Danish Personal Data Act and any questions in this regard should be sent via email to Smedens ApS:
